Applying Behavioral Economics to Expand Patient and Provider Engagement


Capturing and keeping patients’ attention is challenging enough at the doctor’s office, and, often, nearly impossible to accomplish between visits. Patient engagement strategies founded on innovative behavioral economics principles can activate both high need patients and the general population during and between provider visits. This session will introduce core behavioral economics science and showcase case studies from two leading hospital systems, Sutter Health and Mount Sinai Health System. 

This session will address the following:
